MOOREY REMBERING HIS MATE JOHN COPEMAN
BROTHERS ALL - by Norman Copeman
Go & stand upon the rock
And wait for a westerly breeze
Cast me off & let me float
And fly between the trees
Up the valley past Norton's
And under the weir I'll soar
All the way up river
And let me ride the wall
For I live in Wollondilly
And have swam the Burragorang
I've watched the gates slide open
And have heard the river roar
I've raced over little Sydney
And through Megarritys Creek
Slid down Core Park
And swung from the highest tree
Go & stand upon the rock
And wait for a westerly breeze
For there I'll join my brothers
Forever riding free.
